Academic Life

Course Structure

6-year MD program:

Years 1–2: Basic sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry)

Years 3–5: Clinical subjects (Surgery, Medicine, Obstetrics, etc.)

Year 6: Internship (clinical rotations in hospitals)

Class Format

Lectures & Seminars: Regular classes led by professors, often in small groups for personal attention.

Practical Labs: Anatomy labs, pathology slides, diagnostic training.

Clinical Training: Starts from year 3 in affiliated hospitals with real patient exposure.

Assessmesnt

Modular Exams: After each module or subject, including theory and practical exams.

Continuous Assessment: Attendance, assignments, and lab work matter.

Final State Examination: Conducted in Year 6, required to graduate and practice.
